See the Delta, the Falls and the Mother City...

Days 1 - 3: Tubu Tree Lodge, Okavango Delta, Botswana

Upon your arrival in Maun on day one of your Africa vacation package, you will connect with a charter flight to Tubu Tree Lodge. The next 3 days at this lodge in Botswana will be spent on your own accord. Activities include day and night game drives, and bush walks with an armed guide. When the Okavango's annual flood arrives you can also enjoy boating, fishing and mokoro trips.

Accommodation: Tubu Tree Camp is a traditional style tented safari camp built onto raised wooden platforms to take best advantage of the beautiful view over the floodplains. The camp sleeps a maximum of 10 guests in 5 large and comfortable tents.

Days 4 and 5: Eagle Island Camp, Okavango Delta, Botswana

On day 4, you take a scheduled charter flight to Eagle Island Camp, where you can enjoy the safari activities on offer. The lodge is set in a pristine location with lovely views and is perfect for water based activities.

Accommodation: Eagle Island Camp offers accommodation in luxury tents raised on wooden decks overlooking the lagoon. The tents feature en-suite bathrooms and dressing areas, all in a luxurious setting. Individual gas geysers, 'his and hers' vanity unit, private viewing deck, electric heaters, air-conditioning, hair dryers, electric overhead fan (24 hour use), facilities for charging video batteries and 24 hour DC battery lighting is available in all rooms.

Days 6 and 7: Savute Elephant Camp, Chobe National Park, Botswana

For day 6 of your Africa vacation package you take the scheduled charter flight from Eagle Island Lodge to Savute Elephant Camp. Your time is spent at leisure or engaged in the available activities on offer in the morning and late afternoons.

Bird and game viewing is done either from motorised boats or mokoro (traditional dugout canoes), which are poled along effortlessly and quietly through the clear waters of the Okavango. During the months of November through to March, when lower water levels make it possible to drive off the island in open 4x4 vehicles, guests can enjoy the combined excitement of a game drive with water activities.

Accommodation: The accommodation is comfortable and relaxed. You will be hosted in one of 12 luxurious twin bedded tents with private timber decks. You will have spacious en-suite facilities with a 'his and hers vanity unit' and a dressing room area. There is mosquito netting to keep insects away and air-conditioning for those very warm days.

Days 8 - 10: Tongabezi Safari Lodge, Victoria Falls, Zambia

There will be a scheduled charter flight from Savute Elephant Camp to Kasane, where you will be transferred via road to Tongabezi Safari Lodge. You will be transferred via Kazangula border post. The journey is approximately 2 hours. You will have to complete immigration and customs procedures at the Botswana and Zambian border posts.

Your time at the lodge will be very enjoyable. Not only is the lodge in a tranquil environment making it perfect for you to rest up during your travels; but there is a wide range of activities available in the area.

Accommodation: Tongabezi Safari Lodge has a variety of river cottages, houses and a luxurious honeymoon suite. This allows for any client to be accommodated in the way they expect. All the rooms have en-suite facilities, offering comfort and elegance.

Days 11 - 13: Rovos Rail Trip

On day 11, you take the scheduled road transfer from Tongabezi Lodge to Vic Falls Station to embark upon the beautiful and luxurious Rovos Rail train. This trip will take you from Victoria Falls in Zambia to the city of Pretoria in South Africa in just 3 days.

Accommodation: Rovos Rail has one of the most luxurious rail operations in the world. The cabins are spacious, providing comfort throughout the whole trip. The staff will attend to your every need, while an impressive kitchen staff whips delectable meals.

Day 14: Illyria House, Pretoria, South Africa

Upon arrival at the station in Pretoria, you will be taken to the luxury of Illyria House. Here you will be pampered while you relax and prepare for tomorrow's journey which will take you to the cosmopolitan and world famous city of Cape Town.

Accommodation: Illyria House is set in a way to allow you rest and relaxation. With only 6 en-suite double rooms, luxury decor, your own butler and wonderful dinners you will step back into a beautiful time of the South African colonial era.
