Tafika Camp is situated on the scenic banks of the Luangwa River in Zambia. Guests at this environmentally friendly African safari lodge can look forward to staying in spacious chalets all with en-suite bathrooms. The chalets are situated in the shade of giant lead wood trees.
This Zambia safari lodge in Africa offers guests panoramic views. The lodge is situated in a remote area of the pristine South Luangwa National Park. Guests can enjoy a range of activities, ranging from cycling safaris, cultural visits, walking tours and night game drives.
The lodge is very involved with the local community and has community upliftment programs. Guests can go on a visit to the local village and learn about the local culture, enjoy traditional singing and dancing. Walking tours and game drives are conducted by experienced local guides who grew up in the area.
Tafika Camp is operated seasonally, from 1 May to 15 November during the dry season.
Children under the age of 10 are welcome at Tafika Camp at management's discretion. Children will be provided with a separate children's dinner at night. Parents are advised to request a private game viewing vehicle to ensure maximum flexibility. For walking and river safaris, children must be aged 12 and older.
Tafika Camp is situated in a malaria area. Guests are advised to consult their doctor regarding suitable malaria prophylactics prior to arrival. To enter into many countries after visiting Zambia, guests will have to prove that they have been vaccinated against Yellow Fever.
