Visit the Majestic Victoria Falls
The Zambezi is right in front of you and boating or fishing on the river is very relaxing. View the magnificent Victoria Falls, one of The Seven Wonders of the World or explore the oldest and biggest museum in Zambia - The Livingstone Museum.
Tongabezi is a very special lodge and the atmosphere encourages you to relax. Perhaps this has something to do with the flow of the river, which appears to gracefully float by, but in fact has a very strong current.
Incredible Birding
The birdlife along the Zambezi is incredible and after a while you even get to learn the distinctive and individual songs of black collared barbet, fish eagles and turtle doves. Tongabezi offers fascinating bird watching excursions to the island in the middle of the Zambezi just opposite the lodge.
