Sarova Mara is a Hot Air Ballooning HQ and several balloons often take off together just before first light. As you rise into the air so does the sun, which just about takes your breath away. It is an awesome experience and the 1-hour flight is followed by a champagne breakfast wherever you may land.
The chef will track you down wherever you land and set up his mobile kitchen where he will cook you a full English breakfast of eggs, bacon and sausages, plus a table laden with pastries, fruits, teas and coffee. You can't ask for more than that, and all before 9.30am!
You will almost certainly see some amazing Maasai dancers who perform at Sarova Mara Camp in the evenings and whose astonishing leaps will amaze you. There are also cultural and wildlife talks and films.
