Getting to Sarova Mara Game Camp
Masai Mara, Kenya

Sarova Mara Camp is 260km from Nairobi, which is about 5 hours by (an often bumpy) road.

The better alternative is a 40-minute flight from Nairobi Wilson airport with a 10-minute game drive from the airstrip to the camp. The Sarova Mara lodge is located in the popular eastern section of the Masai Mara near the Sekenani Gate.

Mainly humid, with temperatures averaging 26° C during the day and 12°C at night. Sporadic rains in March and April, November and December. The richest game reserve in Kenya, the area is famous for it’s annual wildebeest migration from the Serengeti in Tanzania. The camp is set on an elevation surrounded by two streams. The grounds are beautifully laid out with trees and plants. Electrical fences surround the lodge.

The Safari lodge is elevated astride two streams, with extremely beautiful gardens. The luxurious tents all have permanent roofs, zip-up fronts, electricity and en-suite facilities. Relax outside your own tent listening to the orchestra of rasping Cicadas, croaking tree frogs. The intermittent call of birds and monkeys is a memorable symphony.
